So near to the finish!
The trim and wainscoting are all painted now. The modest white chest of drawers with the green glass pulls has been repainted and moved into the room. There are some much more details but this is darned close.

The tub is not witnessed simply because it is going to be a even though but — the rest of the area is primarily completed, but it is not.

  1. And you just increased the homes value in between 5k – 15k from just a 800$ material & labor bathroom remodel. Thats good ol construction for ya. lol Great to learn. Great job!

  2. This is nice however I dislike towels and tooth brushes in the bathroom to much bacteria floating around when you flush the toilet it has to land somewhere.

I bought a condo 6 months ago and have been updating rooms one at a time. I’m starting to think about the bathroom, and mine looks exactly like yours. Same size and layout! So, this was suuuuper helpful to see what I can do in my own space! Everything is original from when it was built in the 80s, so the linoleum is ugly, the medicine cabinet needs to go, the toilet is tired looking, and the vanity has seen much better days.

Thanks for the inspiration! When you break it down like you did, I feel like I can do it myself without getting too overwhelmed, as I’ve never done anything like this before ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Very nice! Gave me some ideas to update my bathroom, which we will need to do to rent the house out while I am away for a few years.

  5. Great job on the remodel! The bathroom turned out awesome! Definitely learned some new DIY tricks ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Omg, I’m a renter with that same mirror and I’m going to Home Depot next month to start that project….I just hate the look of those mirrors, but you guys did an amazing job.

  7. Janice Woods

Very nice job, it looks great. What a great helper you had and your wife did a good job with making the mirror look custom. Thanks.

  8. Abigail Deville

I see that you uploaded this video in 2015- I love that you were able to make it look so good for under $1000! Awesome job! My only question is are you STILL happy with the mirror frame in 2017? I’ve had mixed results from products like that over time, so with the steam from the shower & everything, I’d be worried about it warping or coming loose or something.

  9. This video was so amazing to watch, I enjoyed it and learned alot, for someone who knows nothing about fixing and handyman job technics. I just had my first lesson on YouTube, ain’t that something, you three did a great job on the video. And the after look of bathroom, omg beautiful.
You make it look so easy, but I know it’s a lot of work, because it takes time and patience.

  10. Why not just get a new framed mirror? It would look more updated plus be less hassle.

  11. Darling Nikki

You guys did such an awesome job. I love this! The color you chose for the vanity is perfect too.

Niceeee!!! I would have added a back splash for the shower if possible & change out the shower head if it’s not upgraded yet๐Ÿ˜Š
